Dr. (Chief) Godwin Orhadahwe

Chairman

Dr. (Chief) Godwin Orhadahwe is the Chairman, Board of Trustees, CEPEJ. He was former Deputy General Manager, DGM, News and Current Affairs, Delta Broadcasting Service, DBS Warri, Delta State Nigeria. He has an extensive career in media and peace studies and practice, research and consulting. He is an associate member of the Society for Peace Studies and Practice, SPSP with headquarters at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He is now a Mass Communication Lecturer at Wesley University, Ondo, Ondo State. He also consults as a media staff trainer for some broadcast stations in parts of Nigeria. Dr. Godwin Orhadahwe is a development journalist and communicator using his skills to highlight the development needs of the country and the resultant empowerment of its citizens. He holds a Master’s degree in Communication Management with specialization in Development Communication. He holds another Master’s degree, M.Ed Sociology both from Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria. He had earlier obtained a Bachelor’s B.Ed degree in Geography from the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria. Chief Godwin Orhadahwe holds a Ph.D degree in Communication Studies with specialization in Advocacy Journalism and Development Communication. He had his professional media training at the United States Information Service Media Training Center in Lagos, NTA Television College, Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, National Electronic Media Institute of South Africa, NEMISA, Johannesburg, South Africa, and Commonwealth Broadcasting Association Training School, London, England, U.K. He has also actively participated in several media training sessions and exhibitions of modern broadcast equipment at the International Broadcasters Conference, IBC in Amsterdam, Holland (The Netherlands). Besides being the Chairman, Board of Trustees of CEPEJ, Dr. Godwin Orhadahwe is the Editor-in Chief of the NGO’s correspondences and academic and development publications, the Peace and Environment Africa Journal, and the CEPEJ Newsletter..
