Prof. Sunday Ijirhevwe Awhefeada attended the University of Benin where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts honours degree in English and Literature (second class upper division) in 1996. He proceeded to the University of Ibadan for the Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Literature which he obtained in 2000 and 2007 respectively. He is the incumbent Dean, Faculty of Arts, Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria. He writes regularly for Nigerian newspapers and is also the public orator of the Delta State University, Abraka.
