Senator Usman Jibrin Wowo

Senator Wowo retired as Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) having served for 22years in different capacities including; Aide de camp (ADC) to Dr. Alexander Ekwueme, Former Vice President of Nigeria between 1979-1983, he served as ADC to the then Inspector General of Police Alhaji Ibrahim Aliyu. Senator Wow got into active politics in 1997. He served as Chairman, Kuje Area Council between 1997 to 2005, Senator representing FCT in 2007 where he served as the Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Petroleum upstream and also member of various Senate Committees. In 2011 he was appointed SSA on political Affairs, budget and National Assembly matters to the FCT Minister. Senator Wowo is an Alumni of the University of Abuja where he obtained B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Political science.
