CEPEJ: Management Staff
DANIEL IMELI is the Program Officer at Center for Peace and Environmental Justice (CEPEJ). He has been working in the development sector for over 8 years; and is the head of programs at CEPEJ's Lagos Office. Before coming to Center for Peace and Environmental Justice (CEPEJ), he was a Program Director at Jomamel Limited where he worked on the development of youth training programs on entrepreneurship and workforce development and placement, and had initiated program targeted at building capacity of community leaders for effective community development. Daniel had worked with retailers as retail solutions provider, and had led an online retail store called saverscart.com as the Managing Director. He had also taught Economics, Mathematics and Agricultural Science in secondary schools in Benue State, and had assisted undergraduates with tutorial classes on Business Mathematics. Daniel Imeli holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Economics from Benue State University, Makurdi, Benue State; and a Certificate in Kingian Nonviolence and Conflict Management from a joint program organized by the Foundation for Ethnic Harmony in Nigeria (FEHN) in collaboration with the University of Rhode Island, United States of America. He is self-directed, creative and innovative. He is a self-starter and is passionate about education, youth positive development and effective community development. He is from Benue State. He is married and lives with his wife and son in Lagos State.
