CEPEJ Peace and Environment Club Commences Across Schools in Niger State.

Center for Peace and Environmental Justice (CEPEJ), a Non-for-Profit Organization, has commenced the institutionalization of Peace and Environmental Club (PEC), across secondary schools in Niger State so as to inculcate the virtue of peaceful coexistence among young people who will, in turn, be advocates of peace in the society.
The Peace club project that was officially flagged off in October 2019, is aimed at deepening the understanding of young people on the effects of all forms of violence bedeveilling our society
The State Coordinator of CEPEJ, Niger State, Mr Habila Muhammad Kudu during a monitoring and evaluation visit to the Government Technical College Eyagi Bida, Niger State on Tuesday February 18, 2020, stated that the activities of the club are running smoothly and he also use the opportunity to present the club sign post constructed by CEPEJ to the school authorities.

He further affirmed : "We deliberated with the school management, facilitators and club members, and they have already commenced their PEC activities.
"CEPEJ is collaborating with some selected secondary schools especially government and private schools to institute Peace and environmental club (PEC)", he added.
He reiterated that the club is geared toward mobilising young people to respond and adopt preventive measures in curbing violence and promoting Peaceful coexistence, Ethnic and religious tolerance in our society to attract the desired development.
