COVID-19: CEPEJ Distribute Hand -Wash Materials and Sanitizers to Schools in Lagos State


A leading Environmental NGO in Nigeria, Center for Peace and Environmental Justice (CEPEJ) on Tuesday November 3, 2020, distributed Hand-Wash Materials and Sanitizers to Schools in Lagos State Education District VI Ikeja to curb the spread of COVID-19 and to keep the students safe as they attend classes for learning.

The distribution of the Hand-wash materials and sanitizers was part of CEPEJ WASH project for 2020, in keeping the environment clean, promoting good hygiene, provision of portable drinking water and sensitization of people on the modalities to stay safe and healthy especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.


CEPEJ gave the materials to both Ikeja Junior College and Bolade Senior Secondary School in Lagos State Education District VI, Ikeja. Receiving the materials for the Schools was the HOD of Curriculum Department, Education District VI, Ikeja who was vary glade for the fine gesture by CEPEJ.

Expressing appreciation for the Hand-wash buckets and Sanitizers, the principal of Ikeja Junior College Mr Yusuf, and Mr. Ajayi Abiodun Samuel of Bolade Senior Secondary School, thanked CEPEJ for putting them into the NGO’s activities for 2020, and promised to put to good use the donated materials, while thanking the management of CEPEJ especially the National Coordinator/ CEO, Chief (Comrade) Mulade Sheriff.

CEPEJ was further assured by both principals for collaboration with the Schools, and to be nominated as one of the leading NGO in Education and support in Lagos State Education District VI, Ikeja.
