Distribution of Food Item: CEPEJ Humanitarian team distributes palliatives to Egbemene Island and Odion- Iyara communities in Warri….

As part of the ongoing palliative distribution to vulnerable individuals living in Delta State by CEPEJ Humanitarian team in collaboration with GovefoodNG with the view to reducing the high level of poverty and hunger in the society, on Tuesday 11th May, 2021 distributed food items to Egbemene Island and Odion – Iyara communities in Warri South West and Warri South LGA respectively.

CEPEJ humanitarian team beat the odd of the river to visit and distribute the food items to Egbemene Island community, a riverine settlement in Delta State.

The beneficiaries of both Egbemene Island community in Warri South West and Odion – Iyara community in Warri South were very glad that they were part of the beneficiaries of the ongoing palliative distribution program by CEPEJ Humanitarian Team.

The beneficiaries also expressed joy and happiness for been considered and prayed for God’s blessings on the National Coordinator of CEPEJ, Chief (Comrade) Sheriff Mulade and GivefoodNG for remembering them in the food distribution program.

The humanitarian support by both CEPEJ and GivefoodNg began on Friday April 30, were hundreds of vulnerable individuals living in Okpe and Ugolo communities in Okpe LGA, Mammy Village and Ijakpa community in Uvwie LGA benefited from the kind gesture of the NGO’s as a start of 6 phase distribution of food items in the State. The distribution is planned to cover, Okpe, Uvwie, Patani Udu, Warri South and Warri South West LGAs of Delta State

CEPEJ humanitarian team will visit and distribute food items to communities in Udu and Patani LGAs next week.
