SPORT: Shahzadi Football Academy, Kaduna visits CEPEJ Office

………Appreciate Comrade (Chief) Mulade for his peacebuilding football competition. The National coordinator, Center for Peace and Environmental Justice, CEPEJ, Comrade (Chief) Sheriff Mulade played host to Shahzadi Football Academy, Kaduna state in his Warri office. The football academy were on a tour to some notable football loving states and philanthropist in Nigeria, including Delta, Bayelsa, Edo and Rivers states.

The team was led by Madam Aghotse Victoria Khadijah, the CEO of the Academy who gave a background of the academy and introduced the 20 – man team who were on ground. While interacting with CEPEJ’s Boss, she highlighted her awareness of CEPEJ efforts on using Sports to build peace among the major ethnics groups in Delta State especially the Ijaw, Itsekiri and Urhobo’s ethic nationality. She appealed for collaboration with and solicits the National Coordinator of CEPEJ for sponsorship to strengthen the Academy, while appreciating Comrade Sheriff Mulade on his sport activities in promoting sustainable peace in Delta State and Nigeria at large.

In his response, Comrade (Chief) Sheriff Mulade appreciated the team for identifying with CEPEJ and finding him worthy to be visited, he also accepted their request for collaboration and promised to provide them with a set of football Jessy, while wishing them a safe trip back to Kaduna state.
